WorkSafeBC requires rigging and slinging work must be done by or under the direct supervision of qualified workers familiar with the rigging to be used and with the code of signals authorized by the Board for controlling hoisting operations.

The Rigging 101 Certification is a proof of training program that includes basic rigging theory, practical rigging training, and inspections, designed to prepare participants with essential rigging skills and knowledge.
Your Proof of Training Certificate is valid for 5 years upon successful completion of the course.
The Rigging 101 course takes place at our Abbotsford training facilities in British Columbia, where you train with real equipment in a realistic environment. Employer Can have the training done at their facilities if the proper environment for training is provided.
Classes are kept small with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 participants to ensure quality instruction and plenty of hands-on practice
Yes. After successfully completing the training, you will receive a Proof of Training Certificate valid for five years.
